Mena Alexandera Suvari is an American actor, model and designer. Born on 13 February 1979. Shortly after beginning her career as a model, she transitioned into acting after appearing in guest roles on 1990's TV shows like Boy Meets World and High Incident. The film debut came in 1997's drama Nowhere. With her performances in American Beauty - for which the actress was nominated to get an award called a BAFTA Award - and American Pie and American Pie, which earned more attention from the public and recognition, she was able to move into larger roles. In the following years, she appeared as the lead for the role of a protagonist in Sugar & Spice (2000) alongside American Pie star Jason Biggs.
